Why should the DR Community be excited about this expansion?
This recent $2.5 million facility upgrade adds 5,300 square feet of additional data center space to CentriLogic’s Rochester facility. The upgrade includes advanced indirect evaporative cooling technology from Schneider Electric, and the installation of a modular 500-kilowatt UPS system. The new space delivers a power utilization efficiency (PUE) rating of 1.2, an 80% increase over the data center industry average of 2.0, and will enable more cost-effective, on-demand capacity planning for clients. The facility enhancements also significantly increase power efficiency, energy savings, and competitive pricing for customers, and enables CentriLogic to operate one of the most efficient data centers in the state of New York.
