Special Interest Groups

Digital Rochester continues its mission to strengthen and grow the region’s technology community through education and relationship development.  In support of that mission, DR holds over 30 events per year focused on areas of membership interest.   Each of DR’s special interest groups (listed below) is led by a DR board member who has passion and expertise in that area.  Please go to the DR home page for specific information on upcoming events.

The Digital Marketing Special Interest Group is focused on providing education, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing among marketing professionals. The content of these events target those whom have an interest or role in customer relationship management, lead generation, marketing communications, project or program management, product development, and/or emerging technologies.

The Sales and Business Development Special Interest Group is focused on providing education, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing among sales and business development professionals. The content of these events target those whom have an interest or role in sales, business development, sales and marketing strategy, and/or strategic partnership development.

The Women in Technology Special Interest Group is focused on providing education, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing among women in and around technology. The content of these events target women, and those who support them, who have an interest or role in technology, women in leadership, professional development and/or personal development.

The Information Technology Leaders Special Interest Group is focused on providing education, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing among information technology leaders. The content of these events target those whom have an interest or role in information technology management, information technologies, emerging technologies and/or professional development.

The Entrepreneurial Special Interest Group is focused on providing education, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing among information technology leaders in the Rochester entrepreneurial community. The content of these events is targeted to individuals and companies that have an interest or role in entrepreneurship, innovation, and start-up businesses.

The CEO Special Interest Group is focused on providing education, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing among company leaders and area experts. The purpose of these invitation-only events for CEOs/Presidents is to provide a forum for relationship building and education; ultimately contributing to business success.
